2020 Spring Induction Weekend


NOTE THIS IS A TENTATIVE SCHEDULE.  DUE TO COVID 19 THIS SCHEDULE MAY CHANGE.  REGISTRATION IS NOT CURRENTLY OPEN.  PLEASE CHECK BACK SOON.
The Fall Induction weekend will be held on May 14-16, 2021 at Camp Barton.   For those new to the Order of the Arrow please click on the button below to learn more about the induction process called the Ordeal.  Below you will find the link to the online registration.  The cost for an ordeal candidate is $55.00.  This includes the cost of food, OA sash. OA handbook, Lodge pocket flap, and 2021 dues.  Cost of all activities taking place at the fall induction are listed below.  All participants at the Induction (Ordeal) weekend will need to bring a copy of their BSA medical form with them.  A link for the BSA medical form is provided below.

$40.00 per Brotherhood Candidate
$53.00 per Brotherhood/Annual Dues
$18.00 per Member
$33.00 per Member/Annual Dues
$55.00 per Ordeal Candidate

LATE FEE if $10.00 will be applied to all registrations after May 9, 2021.

Times:  Please be at camp office between 7:30 and 7:45 pm on Friday, May 14, 2021.  The Ordeal weekend will conclude at 10:30 AM on Sunday, May 16, 2021.  The induction process follows a carefully planned progression and your participation in the entire process is necessary.  Participation in the entire Ordeal is mandatory.

Equipment (PLEASE MARK ALL ITEMS CLEARLY WITH YOUR NAME)
Wear or carry with you on arrival Friday night:
  • Boots or heavy work shoes
  • Long Pants
  • Long Sleeve shirt or Jacket
  • Any personal medication
  • BSA Health Form

Pack in a backpack:
  • Extra clothes
  • Poncho/raincoat
  • Scout uniform
  • Work gloves
  • Sleeping bag & ground cloth
  • Flashlight
  • Bug repellent
  • Soap, towel and toiletries (Showers will be available Saturday evening)

NO FOOD, SHEATH KNIVES OR TOBACCO PRODUCTS ARE ALLOWED.

****NOTE: YOU MUST ATTEND A LODGE INDUCTION WEEKEND WITHIN ONE YEAR OF BEING ELECTED INTO THE ORDER OF THE ARROW.  IF YOU FAIL TO COMPLETE THE INDUCTION IN A YEAR, YOU WILL HAVE TO BE RE-ELECTED BY YOUR PEERS.
****Please eat dinner before arriving Friday night.  No food will be provided until breakfast on Saturday.
****You may wish to bring additional money to purchase items at the Lodge Trading Post which will be open following the induction ceremony.
