What is THRIVE?

Thrive is the OA's national consulting program that empowers lodges to
overcome their unique challenges through individualized mentorship

OTAHNAGON POSSIBILITY AND PROMISE

OUR POSSIBILITY

By understanding the potential of Otahnagon Lodge, we are able to set these high but achievable goals for ourselves now and into the future:
  • We will elect, activate, and retain a great number of members through optimal use of all communications tools, as well as events, and by creating excitement and value within the Order of the Arrow
  • We will develop every arrowman into a leader for their unit, community, and other aspects of their life using Lodge events, an effective Chapter program, mentoring, and National trainings; additionally, we will keep skilled and sustainable leadership teams at the Chapter, Lodge, and levels beyond

OUR PROMISE

By the January 2026 Winter Banquet, we commit to:
  • Reaching an active membership of over 200
  • Holding inductions with 40+ ordeal candidates and 20+ brotherhood candidates
  • Having a participation rate of 45% or higher
  • Having a 85% of newly inducted members come to an activation event
  • Sending every interested member to a National Leadership Seminar at the start of their leadership journey, and sending all advisers to a Developing Youth Leadership Conference within two years of them joining the Lodge
  • Developing an organized leadership structure, and growing it in accordance with the Lodge’s goals
  • Have an activation rate of 50% or higher
  • Have an election rate of 65% or higher

THRIVE POSSIBILITY AND PROMISE

POSSIBILITY 2026

OUR PROMISE

Over the past four years, Thrive has proven itself to be the future of the Order of the Arrow’s Lodge Support Program. As we cement our program among the best offerings from the National Organization to Local Lodges, we will strive to:

  • Grow the Thrive Program to successfully support ~10% of the Lodges per engagement window while ensuring our program maintains its high efficacy and impact.
  • Develop a plan for individuals to advance within the program and the leadership to be succeeded, creating a strong future for Thrive.
  • Utilize our unique position to provide a hotline from the local to the national, bringing the most pressing issues lodges currently face to the forefront of the National Organization.
Work with national sub-teams to cross-promote Thrive and have Thrive promote other programs of the Order of the Arrow, using all the resources National has to offer.
By September 2025, Thrive will:
  • Develop, Implement, and Maintain four standing subcommittees to augment the engagement teams with responsibilities vital for the maintenance of our a high quality support program—Data Analytics, Resource Development, Post-Engagement, and Culture.
  • Create a strong base of Outstanding Partners to continue to support Lodge Engagement by training all recruited Partners and achieving an 80% retention rate from Phase to Phase.
  • Mobilize the National Organization to tell the story of our program, showcasing the exemplary service we have provided to lodges. This includes:
    • Bi-monthly Social Media Highlights
    • Promotion at all National and Region Events
    • Recognition of Thrive Lodge Partners at National Program of Emphasis
    • A common awareness of the Thrive Program
Identify and Explore key areas of improvement and growth for the Thrive Program, taking into account feedback from all stakeholders—Lodge, Partners, and National.
